Perpetual Traffic Formula

Ryan Deiss has worked his way up to become one of the most respected teachers of internet marketing, and most of his valuable knowledge and insight – probably worth tens of thousands of dollars – is available in the Perpetual Traffic Formula.

Click here to visit the Perpetual Traffic Formula website.

The goal of Perpetual Traffic Formula is to teach you about the three main components of search engine optimization (SEO), and show you how to quickly and continuously drive targeted traffic to your websites via search engines – mainly Google.

In this program, you will learn about how to properly optimize your websites to rank for strategic keywords, how to quickly and easily generate high ranking backlinks even from .gov and .edu sites, and how to make sure there is enough activity on your websites to drive it higher in the search engine rankings.

(This last part – activity – was highlighted in Google’s “Caffeine Update” because the powers-that-be at the search engine realized that if a site is constantly being updated and people are leaving comments, it’s probably an “authority” site.)

I highly recommend Perpetual Traffic formula for any internet marketer – beginning, intermediate, or advanced – who wants to grow their revenues and profits.

Over my time running The New Business Blog, I’ve given a lot of advice on how to make more money online. (While I’m no Yaro Starak or John Chow, I’d like to think I have been successful enough to be taken as a reputable source.)

Without a doubt, the single most important piece of advice I’ve given is to straight up TELL your visitors what you want from them. Don’t ask. Tell!

So, on that note, I’ve decided to do a little experiment. I want to see if I can make a simple, yet stupid video go viral, simply by me TELLING everyone that’s what I want them to help me do.

The video is nothing more than me TELLING everyone who views it that I want their help in making the video go viral. Now that you’ve viewed it, help me out by embedding the video in your blog, posting it on Twitter and Facebook, voting for it on Digg and Reddit, Stumbling it, and emailing it out to your friends and family.

Think if it as taking part in a 21st century social experiment. Look at you, you little groundbreaker!

Back to the moral of the story – the reason you tell as opposed to ask is simple – you can never assume that you have been clear enough with your potential customers. If you ask, you leave room for interpretation. If you tell, room for interpretation is gone.

Look at the following two examples:

“Would you be interested in learning more about Blogging to the Bank 2010?”

“Click the following link to learn more about and purchase Blogging to the Bank 2010.”

Of the two, which one do you think is more likely to get you a sale? The first one, where I’m asking if you’d like to learn more while not giving you clear direction on what to do next, or the one where I tell you exactly what to do and what’s going to happen after you do it?

Sure, the second one might come off as a little bit pushy, but since most buyers have to be coaxed and told what to do, you’re probably doing them (and your bank account) a favor by narrowing down their options.

Ok, so, again, go back up to that video, and share it with every person under the sun in every way you know how. I want to get the video up to 50,000 hits, so make sure you do your part!

(How awesome is it going to be if I don’t fall completely flat on my face and this actually works?!?)

What are your thoughts on this post? Do you agree? Think I’m a nut? Leave your comment below!

Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop Review

Jo Han Mok has finally released his eagerly anticipated Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop program, and I couldn’t be more excited!

For those of you who don’t know Jo Han, he is one of the world’s most successful internet marketers and web copy writers.

In his Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop program, he seeks to automate the web copy process for you, which in turn should help to increase your sales, revenue and profitability!

Having advanced copy writing skills is one of the most critical ways for you to turn traffic to your websites into paying, credit card in hand customers.

Unfortunately, copy writing is something that doesn’t come easy for most of us, and is a big reason why so many of us fail to get beyond the two or three sales per month barrier.

Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop blasts through this barrier, and helps to turn you into a copy writing and revenue generating machine.

Here are just a few of the many benefits you will receive when you purchase Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop:

Cut out loads frustration and trial and error, and improve your copy writing in mere seconds!

Have the confidence of knowing your web marketing is as effective as possible, that it’s letting you run circles around your competition.

Be able to get the better copy writing results with a couple clicks of the mouse than what used to take you hours of planning, writing and editing.

Turn your website’s traffic into qualified buyers.

Additionally, not only has Jo Han slashed the price of Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop, but you have 60 days to get a full refund if you are not satisfied with the product. Sounds like a win/win situation to me!

What are your thoughts on copy writing? Have you ever used any of Jo Han’s copy writing products before? Have you purchased Ultimate Web Copywriting Desktop? Leave your comments below!

Mass Article Creator Review

One of the best ways you can improve your ranking in the search engines and drive targeted traffic to your websites is through article marketing.

Unfortunately, article marketing can be very time consuming, especially if you write brand new submissions for each site. After all, not only will you be writing and updating your blog, but you’ll be writing and submitting unique content to each article directory.

Mass Article Creator helps you to automate the article writing process, allowing you to essentially re-write articles with just a few clicks of the mouse.

On top of that, the Mass Article Submitter software allows you to submit your newly re-written articles to ten of the top article submission sites with – as you guessed it – just a few more clicks of the mouse.

Here are some additional benefits to using Mass Article Creator:

In less than 30 seconds, create up to 1,000 articles from just one article you’ve already written, giving you tons of unique content while saving you hours of work.

It has a huge in-built synonym database for ultra quick insertion and replacement processing. This will allow your articles to come out so high quality that they’ll read like you spent hours putting them together!

This truly is more than just your typical article spinning software!

I’m still new to the software, so I’m unable to quantify how much it has helped my SEO and traffic.

However, from experience I know how much article marketing can help your site improve SEO and gain traffic, so I’m sure this product will drastically reduce the amount of time I spend writing and submitting articles, and increase the amount of traffic and SEO benefit I get from the articles.

If you’re trying to build traffic, I highly recommend you give Mass Article Creator a shot. If it doesn’t work, you can get a refund within 60 days, so there’s really nothing to lose.

What are your thoughts on article marketing? Have you used Mass Article Creator? Leave your comments below!

Mass Article Creator Review

Per FTC regulations, please be aware that if you purchase Mass Article Creator after clicking the above links, I will receive a commission. I do own this product, paid for it with my own money, and have used it as I have stated in this article.

In order to illustrate a point, this post is going to be incredibly short. It’ll also be one of the most important posts you’ll read with regard to copywriting and getting more out of your readers.

As a writer, you need to remember that your readers have a limited attention span, and will not read every word on your page.

In fact, I’ll bet that right now, you’re just skimming through this article, looking for something to grab your attention.

If you do it, you must assume that your readers are doing it, too.

As you are writing, remember that any long paragraph will be skimmed through, and in many cases, glanced over completely. Be sure to break your writing up into smaller chunks.

One way you can help to cut down on your writing is to frequently use lists. Your readers love them and they force you to cut down on the amount of words you use.

Another trick you can use to make your writing stand out is bold your important points, since your readers’ eyes are naturally drawn to print that stands out.

Last but not least, make your point quickly. Don’t wait until the fifth paragraph to start making your move.

What are your copywriting tricks? Leave a comment below.

One of the most basic reasons many of us start to develop and run websites and blogs is to try to make ourselves a small fortune. We’ve all heard about or read stories of people who were able to come up with some product or website and very quickly turn it into a cash generating machine.

While I don’t want to burst your bubble, the chance of that happening to you or me is pretty slim to none. I’m sorry, but it’s a fact.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t become a successful internet entrepreneur. In fact, there’s a simple thing you can start doing right now that will essentially guarantee that you will get far with your website or blog:

FOCUS ON EVERYONE BUT YOURSELF

I know this point seems rather obvious, but in the quest for riches and notoriety, we tend to over look this rather meaningful item. No matter what niche your website serves – whether you talk about politics, money, dieting, marketing, etc. – or how crowded that niche is, if you focus on your readers, you will end up succeeding.

Here are three simple ways you can start focusing on your readers so that you provide them an enriching experience on your site:

1) Focus on improving your readers’ – not your own – problems. I know that you’ve created your website or your blog to serve your own purposes, however, if your site or blog doesn’t actually help people solve their own problems, they’re never going to come back to your site, if they find it at all.

When writing your posts, focus on what your readers want to read or learn from you. You can learn what they want by being an active member in forums related to your niche, reading and responding to comments on your site, and reading popular posts on other sites or blogs related to your niche.

By virtue of creating your site, you have made yourself into an authority figure. By continuously writing about what your readers want and solving their problems, you will grow this authority and will end up with an incredibly successful website or blog.

2) Don’t hold anything back. While writing for your site or blog, you have to be as thorough as possible. Yes, I know this will increase the amount of time it takes to research and write about your topics, but it will greatly increase the odds you’ll actually help solve your readers’ problem(s).

Let’s be honest, no two readers are a like, which means no two readers have the exact same problems. Don’t get me wrong, depending on your niche, many readers might have very similar problems they’re looking to solve, but not any two readers will have the exact same issue.

By providing different view points and multiple resources – even if you these view points or resources conflict with what you believe is the “best” answer – you’ll be able to help more people and solve more problems than if you were to just write a quick post explaining your stance on a particular issue.

Try and make each of your posts a one-stop solution shop!

3) Give your readers your best stuff for free. While this might seem like it’s not a good business practice, nothing could be further from the truth. (Obviously, I’m assuming your site is information based, and not actually revolving around a physical product. If you’re hawking an actual product, the rules are slightly different!)

When building up your credibility, it’s going to be incredibly tough for you to ask for anything from your readers; you’re going to have to give time and time again, and expect nothing in return. This will be tough at first, but resist the urge to try and push people towards affiliate offers, advertising, or your own products.

However, once you’ve gained credibility with your readers by helping them solve a problem or two, they will naturally gravitate towards the affiliate offers, advertising, and your own products that you have throughout your site.

By virtue of this, your helping your site’s visitors to succeed, without asking for anything in return, will help you become a success.

I’d like to leave you with a quote by Maya Angelou that I think sums up this entire post:

“It may be in fact utterly impossible to be successful without helping another person to become successful. I don’t know, but I don’t think one can become liberated without liberating somebody else.”

I’m sitting here on my 12th floor balcony overlooking the ocean and I’m starting to feel a little bit antsy. Not in a bad way (how can it be bad, I’m at the beach?!?), but it a “what are some simple ways I can get more traffic and improve my conversions” sort of way.

What can I say, it’s difficult for me to turn it off.

Anyway, I thought back to Marshall Wayne’s guest post, which got me thinking about one of my favorite quotes of all-time:

“Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.” – Basil King (not Goethe, as many believe thanks to Almost Famous)

This quote can help you become a better blogger on a couple different fronts. In continuing with Marshall’s theme, writing bold and catchy headlines will certainly grab readers and, at the very least, get them to read the first paragraph or two of your article.

Next, being bold and semi-outrageous in your copy will keep people on the page long enough to actually finish your post. Over the past decade or so, it seems like it has been beaten into our heads that we need to be as politically correct and down the middle as possible so as to not offend anyone.

While that’s certainly great, it’s not going to gain you many long term readers. After all, there are probably thousands of other blogs out there that give a middle of the road perspective, regardless of your niche. But, if you pick a side and (most importantly) are adamant about the stance you’ve taken, you’re going to strike a chord with your readers whether they agree with you or not.

For a real world example of how this actually works, just take a look at Howard Stern. His rise to being “the king of all media” as well as amassing a net worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars all started with him being so outrageous on the air that it forced people to either love him or hate him. Not surprisingly, both sides of the aisle continued to tune it, just to hear what he would say or do next.

You can do that with your blog too. Now, I’m not saying you have to be raunchy or vulgar, just be different and convincing.

The final way being bold will help you is in your submission to the social bookmarking and networking sites. If you post your link and say, “Review of the Cell Phone Cash Program,” or, “here’s my latest blog post,” you’re probably not going to get too many people to click on the link or vote it up on Digg and reddit (as we know, success on social bookmarking sites is all about your headline).

However, if you say something to the effect of, “How a Cell Phone Created a Millionaire,” or, “How to Get Someone Other Than Your Mom to Read Your Articles,” you’ll probably get a lot more clicks and (more importantly) votes on the social bookmarking sites, increasing your chances of getting to the home page and gaining even more visitors increasing your chances to “go viral.”

So keep King’s quote in mind when you’re writing your posts. Take every opportunity you can to be bold and express your own opinion. Don’t be afraid of offending your readers; instead, embrace the chance to push the envelope, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with your long-term increase in traffic and conversions.

“All you need is blog. All you need is blog. All you need is blog, blog is all you need.”

(Ok, so that’s not really how the song goes, but it’s a fitting introduction.)

What can The Beatles, one of the greatest and most well know bands in history, teach you about being successful in your online business? They can teach you the two most fundamental (although seemingly contradictory) lessons that will take you and your blog or website to the top and help keep you there.

BE CONSISTENT

Can you think of a Beatles song that you genuinely don’t like? Probably not. It’s safe to say that The Beatles consistently put out great music. Their music stuck with people; not only was the music catchy, but the lyrics spoke to people.

In order to become a successful blogger or internet marketer, you need to consistently put out great copy. Your words not only have to grab people’s attention, but your words need to resonate long after people stop reading.

Put out consistently great copy and you’ll consistently grow your traffic and profits.

ALWAYS EVOLVE

When The Beatles first played the Ed Sullivan show, they played what would now be considered kind of “poppy” music. Songs like “I Want To Hold Your Hand,”Love Me Do,” and “Can’t Buy Me Love” were all the rage, and certainly fit in with what was popular at the time.

Fast forward 10 years and several albums later and you would think you were listening to a completely different band. Songs like “Come Together,” “Yellow Submarine,” and “Let It Be” filled the airwaves, and, again, fit in with what was popular at the time.

The Beatles evolved with the times and what people wanted to hear. Had they suck with the original formula, they would have been nothing but a passing fad and not considered one of the greatest bands of all time.

In order for your blog or products to continuously succeed, you and your writing will need to evolve. Take the pulse of your readers, tailor your posts to their wants and needs, not your own. By changing your posts and copy to be in line with your readers desires, you’ll be able to sustain your success for the long haul.

Be consistent, yet always evolve, and enjoy lasting success.

What are your thoughts? Who’s your favorite Beatle? What’s the best Beatles song? Leave your comments below.

Clickbank Code Review

Now that I’ve gotten serious about really trying to make an effort to maximize all of my online income streams, I figured it was about time to venture into affiliate marketing, and more specifically, marketing products from Clickbank.

While I had known about Clickbank for some time, I was definitely intimidated by it because, to be quite honest, I didn’t even really know where to begin. That’s why Clickbank Code is such a helpful product.

After doing some research, I decided to check out Clickbank Code, a new product from Michael Jones that shows in a step-by-step manner how to quickly get affiliate sites up and running and leverage Clickbank so that you can start making money in a matter of days.

If you haven’t heard of Michael Jones, you’d better get used to the name, as he was able to turn himself from a relative newbie into someone making nearly $50,000 per month using the steps he outlines in Clickbank Code. Considering I’d be happy at just 10% of that success, I figured I’d give it a try!

In Clickbank Code, Michael Jones goes into detail about how to:

find the hottest and best selling digital products on Clickbank

leverage free search engine traffic to maximize your profits

use social media to drive targeted BUYERS to your sites

track your campaigns to maximize the most profitable ones and ditch the duds

Clickbank Code is different from another learn affiliate marketing program I recently reviewed, Affiliate Classroom 2.0, in the sense that it is more of a “paint by numbers” sort of program, meaning it gives you a step by step process. In Affiliate Classroom 2.0 you’re given a whole bunch of lessons that allow you to sort of figure out affiliate marketing on your own.

For me personally, I do better with the step by step process because I just want to hit the ground running. Don’t get me wrong, Affiliate Classroom 2.0 is a great system and I learned a lot from it, but in terms of learning how to quickly get cash coming in from affiliate marketing (specifically from Clickbank) I thought Clickbank Code was more along the lines of what I would need to succeed.

If you’re serious about making money from Clickbank, buying the Clickbank Code program (as well as many of the extras) will be an amazing investment for you.

One of the most important things you need to do when trying to build up traffic to your blog or site is to determine which keywords you’re going to target. You’ll want to pick keywords that are broad enough that they generate a lot of searches, but specific enough so that the traffic you do it is targeted.

Unfortunately, this is a pretty fine line to walk.

To give you an example, I worked incredibly hard to get Daily Fuel Economy Tip ranked on the first page of Google for the search term “fuel economy.” I figured if I could get this widely searched keyword I’d be set and get thousands of free visitors each day on this keyword alone.

Yeah, not so much.

Turns out I get most of my search engine traffic from long-tail keywords like “difference between diesel and gasoline,” or “reduce fuel consumption.” In fact, probably just one percent of my site’s total traffic comes from the highly coveted keyword “fuel economy.”

When you’re working to get ranked so that you can get highly targeted traffic or buyers with their credit card out and ready to go, make sure you’re going after keywords that are going to convert. You don’t always have to go after the big game keywords because more often than not they’re not going to be the best terms for converting visitors into long-term readers or buyers.

Instead, focus on specific or action keywords. For example, which keyword do you think is going to provide better conversions: “cell phone cash” or something like “review of cell phone cash,” or “buy cell phone cash program?” Based on previous experience, it almost a foregone conclusion that the long-tail, action specific keywords will convert better.

Just targeting “cell phone review” will bring information seekers, whereas making a slight change and targeting “buy cell phone cash” will bring in targeted, ready to act buyers.
