These are great points, you definitely need passion and a purpose to withstand the challenges of being an entrepreneur. It takes a lot of courage to break through the doubt of the “normal” people with those regular bi-weekly pay checks and security safety nets. But in the end, getting a chance to share your gifts, talents, and skills with the world, profiting from it, and preserving through the hard times is worth it in the end.

One of the best things to do is get paid what you like to do. For example, if you love to write blogs, you make money doing that. There’s site coming out call http://www.ihype.com. Where basically they’ll pay you to write reviews about a product.

I think one of the hardest things in this life is to turn your passion into your job. Obviously, it isn’t easy finding out how to accomplish this–otherwise, everyone would do it! However, if you start your own business, it is certainly going to be a labor of love. If you truly love it, the labor will be worth it.

I strongly agree with your 3rd point of being patience or persistence. I have quite a number of friends who in fact have more experience than me and started their business earlier but they did not persist. After 1 year or 2, they quit. I have gone through the same thing so to be persistence meaning you must first have passion in what you are doing, if not, it is very difficult to have persistence.

Very true! When I initially started my business almost 15 years ago, no one (and I do mean NO ONE) thought it was a good idea. They thought I was crazy to put so much work into starting my own business when I could just go and find a job! I am happy to be where I am now!!!
