Focus on What You Have (Not What You Don’t) and Watch Your Business Explode

The older I get and the more I work on growing my online empire, the more I realize that there is a direct correlation between frame of mind and success.  If you act like The Man, you will be.  If you don’t, well, let’s not go there.

One of the most important things you can do to make sure you’re in the right frame of mind for success is to focus on what you have and what you’ve accomplished instead of what you don’t have or what you have yet to accomplish.  The moment I started focusing on the positives of my current state – while still keeping true to my long term goals – is when everything turned around for me and I started making my biggest gains, both in terms of my business and my life in general.

Blogging to the Bank 3.0 Review

About a year ago, I bought Rob Benwell’s Blogging to the Bank 2.0, and was very impressed with what it had to offer.  After implementing many of the tips and instructions, I saw my blogging revenue grow very significantly.

Is Twitter Really Worth the Effort?

Over the past several months I’ve really started to pay attention to social media and networking and how they can be utilized to help build a brand and drive traffic to my websites.  Considering all of the major social media sites are free and have millions of users, harnessing their “power” is pretty important if you’re trying to make money online.

One of the fastest growing social media sites is Twitter, which currently has between 5M and 20M users, depending on your source.  (Kind of a wide discrepancy, don’t you think?)  No matter the current number, Twitter is still experiencing massive month-over-month growth.

With such a large and growing user base, Twitter has become a powerful marketing tool for many of us in the internet marketing game, especially those of us who are fortunate enough to have a lengthy list of followers.

The Rebirth of an Online Empire

Ok, I’ll admit this headline is a little bit misleading considering Carr Online Media, LLC has never been an “online empire.”  In fact, it’s probably safe to assume that aside from my family and close friends, nobody even knew Carr Online Media, LLC even existed.

This is about to change.

After months of putting together a new business model and marketing campaign, Carr Online Media, LLC is on a new path, and is poised to become an internet powerhouse, or at least that’s what I like to tell myself!  After all, what’s worth doing if you’re not going balls to the wall!

Going forward, Carr Online Media, LLC will tackle the following areas:

  1. Content Creation – for both sites (The New Business Blog, Daily Fuel Economy Tip, etc.) as well as informational products
  2. Affiliate Sales – via content sites or dedicated affiliate sites (Top Twitter Programs, My Broken Heart, etc.)
  3. Domain Holding – domains are the real estate of the 21st century

In order to help build its brand, Carr Online Media, LLC will launch some aggressive marketing campaigns, in both social media and email marketing.  After all, the two most common phrases in business are “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know” (social media) and “the money is in the list” (email marketing).
