The Best Online Business for 2013 Part 1 of 4

If you’re an aspiring entrepreneur but you don’t know where you should start there are literally hundreds of businesses that you can break into online today, many with an extremely low start-up cost that can be done right from home using a laptop or other computer.  With that in mind this 3 Part series gives you a look at some of the best. If you are keen on starting an online business in 2013 start here. Come back soon for Parts 2 and 3.

  1. Affiliate marketing isn’t new by any means but it’s still a very viable way to make a living online.  It’s also one of the easiest online businesses to start by far and requires practically no overhead at first. 1 caveat; if you’re not a good salesperson or you don’t particularly like selling this may not be for you.
  2. Virtual assistant.  Many people feel that there are already enough VAs on the market but they’re wrong.  There are plenty of niches that you can explore that will give you a competitive edge.  Do what you like and find people that like the same thing and you’ll be set.
  3. Copywriting services for niche companies.  If you have a certain set of skills and experiences that lend themselves to niche copywriting there are still plenty of opportunities out there.
  4. Ghostwriting services can be niche also and, if you have a particular writing style, you may do well with this one.
  5. Graphic design seems to be chock full of competitors but again a niche may just serve you well here. You may even want to launch your own online graphic design firm that specializes in your niche.
  6. This one may not make you rich but it could pay the bills nicely.  An online beading service with video tutorials about beading techniques may prove very popular.
  7. Vintage clothing, much of which you can get for nothing down at the thrift store, is very big these days.  Find them, clean them up and sell them online using eBay or a Yahoo store.  If you’re really good at picking out great vintage clothes you’ll make money and get paid to shop.  Yay!
  8. Start an online research company.  Yes, if you have a computer anyone can search for info online but the fact is that it takes time and energy.  If you offer a service to do it you may be surprised how many people will seek your services.
  9. Online business consulting is growing by leaps and bounds and is very viable.  If you have a specialty that few others share you can take that specialty online and help others.
  10. Life Coaching is an excellent way to earn a living and, as with many of the other choices above, it helps to have a niche here also. Dating, clothing, procrastination problems, organizational problems and many more things are out there that people need help with.  Help them and earn a living online at the same time.

Banner Ad Blueprint Review – Banner Ads the “New” Way to Make Money Online?

Banner Ad Blueprint Review

In this article, I’m going to talk about Banner Ad Blueprint and why buying this program might help you to drastically cut down your marketing expenses, explode your profits, and help you achieve the financial freedom you desire.

Banner Ad Blueprint, Banner Ad Blueprint Review, Banner Ad Blue Print, Banner Ad Blue Print Review, Banner Ads Blueprint, Banner Ads Blueprint Review, Banner Ads Blue Print, Banner Ads Blue Print ReviewOver the past two weeks I have received a lot of emails regarding a new program called Banner Ad Blueprint, so I figured it was a pretty big deal.  After the 20th email, I finally clicked on a link to the site to see what all the fuss was about.

After looking around and figuring out the premise of the program – which essentially teaches you how to use banner advertisements to make money online, which is as easy as getting a cash advance – I was both intrigued and puzzled.

I was puzzled because everyone says banner ads are dead. I was intrigued because, well, everyone says banner ads are dead.

Based on the stats shown on the Banner Ad Blueprint website, it’s clear that banner ads are alive and generating tons of money for the internet marketers who know how to use them.

According to the Banner Ad Blueprint sales page, here are some of the benefits you will receive when you purchase the program:

  1. Get more traffic to your sites for less cost per click, which will increase both the amount of sales you make and the profits you keep.
  2. Not have to worry about the dreaded “Google Slap” because you will be using other advertising networks.? Now you won’t have to worry about your major traffic source cutting you off.
  3. Possibly join the ranks of the program’s students who have been able to lots of money in a very short time span, even with very little previous internet marketing experience.
  4. Never have to work about expensive Pay-Per-Click or time consuming SEO traffic ever again.
  5. According to stats on the site, banners drive nearly 85% of all paid traffic, and deliver the most targeted buyers to your sites, again, getting you more sales with less effort.

Based on these benefits, it seems like purchasing Banner Ad Blueprint is pretty much a no-brainer, and the reason I put together this Banner Ad Blueprint review.

And because these guys are saying they’re going to raise the price soon, if you’re interested you’d better act now.

Hopefully this Banner Ad Blueprint review helped you make the right decision!

Make This Video Go Viral – Seriously, Do As You’re Told

Over my time running The New Business Blog, I’ve given a lot of advice on how to make more money online. (While I’m no Yaro Starak or John Chow, I’d like to think I have been successful enough to be taken as a reputable source.)

Without a doubt, the single most important piece of advice I’ve given is to straight up TELL your visitors what you want from them. Don’t ask. Tell!

So, on that note, I’ve decided to do a little experiment. I want to see if I can make a simple, yet stupid video go viral, simply by me TELLING everyone that’s what I want them to help me do.

The video is nothing more than me TELLING everyone who views it that I want their help in making the video go viral. Now that you’ve viewed it, help me out by embedding the video in your blog, posting it on Twitter and Facebook, voting for it on Digg and Reddit, Stumbling it, and emailing it out to your friends and family.

Think if it as taking part in a 21st century social experiment. Look at you, you little groundbreaker!

Back to the moral of the story – the reason you tell as opposed to ask is simple – you can never assume that you have been clear enough with your potential customers. If you ask, you leave room for interpretation. If you tell, room for interpretation is gone.

Look at the following two examples:

Of the two, which one do you think is more likely to get you a sale? The first one, where I’m asking if you’d like to learn more while not giving you clear direction on what to do next, or the one where I tell you exactly what to do and what’s going to happen after you do it?

Sure, the second one might come off as a little bit pushy, but since most buyers have to be coaxed and told what to do, you’re probably doing them (and your bank account) a favor by narrowing down their options.

Ok, so, again, go back up to that video, and share it with every person under the sun in every way you know how. I want to get the video up to 50,000 hits, so make sure you do your part!

(How awesome is it going to be if I don’t fall completely flat on my face and this actually works?!?)

Clickbank’s New Layout – Pretty Awesome!

I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I went to go log in to my Clickbank account.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t because I had a ton of new money waiting for me (on that note, my Clickbank sales have been awful lately, but that’s beside the point). Instead, the pleasant surprise was Clickbank’s new “Marketplace” layout.

Before the change, navigating through Clickbank in order to find interesting and worthwhile products to offer was a little bit cumbersome. It’s not that it was time consuming, but it took a lot of clicks of the mouse to get where you wanted.

After the change, you can find what you want much more quickly. The fact that they have each category broken down by relevant niches is very helpful when you’re trying to find the very best products for your affiliate review sites, like the one I have at Top Twitter Programs.

Also, you can now search by product type, which was something that wasn’t previously offered.

Anyway, if you haven’t already done so, head over to Clickbank to check out the new layout. I think you’ll be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

What are your thoughts on the new layout? Leave your comments below.

Mass Article Creator Review

One of the best ways you can improve your ranking in the search engines and drive targeted traffic to your websites is through article marketing.

Run a Legit Business or Pay the Price

In case you haven’t heard, Google has finally taken steps to ban advertisers who promote links to “scam sites.” These types of sites and offers include crazy get-rich-quick schemes, teeth whiteners and weight loss products.

Previously, Google would simply take down an advertisement if it pointed to a sketchy site or violated any terms and conditions, in essence banning the advertisement, not the advertiser.

Obviously, this is pretty huge news, as Google is critically important to any internet marketer, and is more than likely the marketer’s largest source of traffic.

Aside from being news worthy, Google’s actions illustrate an even larger point for those of us who are internet marketers: you have to focus on running a legitimate business.

Unfortunately, too many internet marketers have become modern day snake oil salesmen. They pitch products they know nothing about, or worse, that they know won’t live up to their outrageous claims, and try to scam as many people as possible in order to money.  Once one well runs dry, they simply pick up and move on to the next bogus product or niche.

Things to Consider When Looking at Affiliate Offers

Of all of the ways you can make money on your blog or site, one of the most profitable and popular ways is through affiliate marketing, which is essentially promoting other people’s products for a portion of the sale price.

While on the surface affiliate marketing seems like it should be pretty easy, it’s something that takes a very long time to learn and master.  In order to get it right you have to pick the right products, have a big enough audience, be able to write persuasive copy that gets people to buy… the list goes on and on.

That being said, becoming a successful affiliate marketer isn’t impossible to do either.  After all, there are thousands of people out there making a living simply promoting other people’s products.  If they can do it, you can do it!

In today’s post I’m going to focus on product selection, which might be the most important piece of affiliate marketing.  You can have all the traffic in the world and write incredible copy, but if you pick the wrong product you’re going to be dead in the water.

Here are some important questions to ask yourself when selecting which products  you want to promote.

Adsense Still the Preferred Way to Make Money Online

One of the most beautiful things about being an internet marketer is the fact there are so many different revenue streams.  Whether it’s contextual ads, affiliate marketing, advertising deals, you name it, there shouldn’t be any reason you can’t start to make a little bit of money from your websites.

So, how to most people do it?  The answer might surprise you a little bit.

Despite claims of its death and lack of “real” revenue generating power, Adsense is still the preferred way of making money for most website owners.

Here’s how nearly 100 people responded when asked: What is your primary source of online revenue?

  • Adsense – 70%
  • Affiliate Sales – 15%
  • Private Ads – 9%
  • Product/Service Sales 6%
